How we teach
Our method
Every course teaches through story and decision, and is mapped to an RQF level so you know how deep it goes before you enrol.

Storytelling
Every course tells one story
Your staff have sat through enough click-next e-learning. Ours teach through story: one continuous scenario per course, with a recurring cast of carers and the people they support. Concepts like duty of care never stay abstract, they play out on a shift that could be yours, so they stick beyond the certificate.

Interaction
Active learning, on every screen
Our courses are built on active learning. Every screen asks you to work with what it has just taught, at a pace you control, so attention holds and each idea is tested the moment it lands. Decision points go furthest: you make the call before anyone gives you the answer, then watch a realistic consequence unfold. The mistake costs nothing, and the lesson stays.
+6%
in exam scores when learners work actively, while learners taught by lecture alone are 1.5 times more likely to fail: 33.8% against 21.8%
45%
smaller gap in passing rates for under-represented learners where active learning is intensive
+0.4 SD
higher learning from practice exercises, comparing online courses head to head

Assessment
No two assessments are the same
Every CPD course ends with an assessment drawn from its own question bank, where each question is classified by difficulty. Each attempt pulls a fixed number of questions from that bank, so no two assessments of the same course look alike while the level of challenge stays constant. A retake tests your understanding, not your memory of the last attempt.
The formats vary too, so the material is tested from more than one angle:
- Multiple choice
- Select all that apply
- Matching
- True or false

Course levels explained
